Gallery of Images

A gallery of images relating to events, raves, party's and residencies of DJ ChitChat throught the last few decades...

When I look back now at all the events that have taken place, and the memories that were being made, I wonder why we never seemed to have a camera around. When you see all of the social networking sites that are so fashionable at the moment, and all of the old photos that are posted, and the smiles that they bring to everyone involved, it really makes me sad that so little of the amazing times we spent were captured on film. For example, when I look though all the thousands of images and movies people post of Labrynth, particularly at the Four Aces Club, Dalston Lane. Hackney, it's quite amazing to think that I was there almost every Friday and Saturday night, for nearly two year's running, and I've only ever seen myself, and a couple of other friends from our group/area in less than a handful of photo's, what a shame!!

So it brings me to ask; if anyone has any photos, of any of the events we attended, big or small, good or bad pictures, please get in touch, and I will happily get them posted up on the site. Also, anyone that wants to contribute to the content with any memories, please let me know, it's amazing to hear others memories and opinions, especially all these years later....thank-you anyone that attended....enjoy!

CazBar - Worcester Park

May 2009

One of the most recent events, another in the long line of parties celebrating both the life of Bob, and the birthday's of Bob and Steve, AKA ChitChat. This party was one of the greatest atmosphere's to date, an absolute tribute to all that attended. It becomes harder year by year for people to make the effort to turn up, and this year had one of the best attendances to date! Thanks to Carey from the bar for the hospitality, we're a difficult lot to please, and no-one knows that better than I do, believe me!! A great turn out from the Gernon family, respect where respect is due. Stuart from Troublesome, what a privellege it was to see you again, Mickey Warne and Lee Harvey, tops to see you guy's. Gerry, Stacey, Faye, Woody, John and, OMG Duffer..great turn up! Of course Sash, Fiona, haven't seen you for year's Claire, Sharon, Connor, Gary, Pickles and Nat's...as always, thank-you! Raki, Dawnie and, I'm struggling here, so please don't be offended if I haven't included you yet, just let me know..please!! A great night, shame about the mixing, a little on the rusty side that time around lol, but I was in aww of you all, you made me so proud, I won't forget that turnout and amazing atmosphere for a long time. I don't think I've seen such a mix of characters get on like that before, it could have been carnage!!

Santas Misbehavin'

Bar 76 - Epsom

December 18th 2010

A big event considering recent years, in partnership with my good freinds from Flex.fm both old and new. Respect to Longman, Unit 1 & Twiz for persuading an old man out of retirement for this one!! If any of you remember it, this happened to be the day of the snow in 2010, and I don't say that lightly, I think almost 24 inches fell that very day! Somehow, we pulled it off, although quite how, I really don't know! It would be fair to note at this point that, this was a venue without heating, that the police insisted the front doors remained open ALL NIGHT! A three floored converted Victorian building in Epsom High St.:

Top floor hosted by Flex - Drum & Bass and Old School Jungle/Hardcore

Middle Floor hosted by Flex - UK & US Garage

Ground Floor hosted by Flex in conjuction with Smile Promotions - Old Skool House & Us Garage
